Assembly Preparation

1. Carefully remove all contents from the product packaging.

2. Ensure you have all the accessories and tool(s) needed for assembly and operation. This also includes suitable personal protective equipment.

Assembling the Lower Handles

1. Insert the two lower handles into the motor cover and secure them with the two Phillips screws.

Assembling the Centre and Upper Handle.

1. Secure the centre handle to the lower handles with the bolts and wing knobs. Ensure the bolt and wing knob are assembled in the correct method.

2. Secure the upper handle to centre handle with the bolts and wing knobs. Ensure the bolt and wing knob are assembled in the correct method.

3. Use the two cable clips to attach the power cable to the handle frame.

NOTE: During assembly, ensure that the power cable is not squeezed and that it has sufficient play

Mounting and Emptying the Collection Bag

The collection bag must be assembled before it is mounted on the machine.

1. Assemble the collection bag frame by connecting the two parts.

2. Pull the collecting bag over the bag frame ensuring the collection bag handle feeds through the hole in the top of the fabric collection bag.

3. Pull the plastic clips over the collection bag frame. Mounting the collection bag on the machine:

4. Lift the safety guard.

5. Push the pins on the collection bag rods into the socket in the motor cover.

6. Release the safety guard so that it holds the collection bag in its position.

Removing and emptying the collection bag:

1. Lift the safety guard and take out the collection bag.

NOTE: The rear wheels are swivel-hinged to stabilise the appliance when the bag is full.

General Maintenance

1. When work has finished, remove plant residues adhering to the wheels, inside the ventilation opening, the grass ejector opening and the cylinder. Do not use hard or pointed objects for this purpose as they could damage the machine.

2. To ensure that the safety guard flap closes properly, remove any earth that may have collected
on the safety guard springs and/or the housing.

3. Completely empty the collection bag.

4. Always keep the machine clean. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents. We cannot be held liable for damage caused by our machines if they were improperly repaired, if non-original parts have been used or if they were used not in keeping with their intended purpose.

Storing the Machine

The device features the following storage options to save space:

1. Before storing your machine, disconnect the plug from the power socket. Remove the collection bag.

2. Loosen the wing knobs on both sides of the handle bars.

3. Fold the upper and centre handles. Making sure that the cables do not become trapped.

4. Store the machine indoors in a cool, dry location and out of reach of children.

5. Allow the motor to cool before storing the equipment in a confined space.

6. Do not cover the equipment as moisture could build up.
