1. Insert the handle into the wand and secure with the provided screw.
NOTE: Tighten the screw with a Phillips head screwdriver. Ensure that the screw is secured.
2. Insert the wand into the main body until you hear a ‘click’.
3. Wrap the power cord around the upper and lower cord hooks.
NOTE: Make sure to wrap the power cord around the upper cord hook first, and then around the lower cord hook to avoid damaging the power cord.
Cleaning Cycle
1) Turn off and unplug carpet cleaner.
2) Rinse the clean water tank with warm water and empty.
3) Fill the clean water tank with warm water. Reinstall the clean water tank to the unit.
4) To flush and rinse the carpet cleaner, turn on the unit and press the spray trigger for 15 seconds while making back and forth passes on a section of carpet.
5) Release the spray trigger and vacuum up the water.
6) Empty the dirty water tank.
Cleaning the Appliance Exterior
1) Turn off and unplug carpet cleaner.
2) To clean exterior, or to reduce static electricity and dust build-up, wipe outer surface with a clean, damp and soft cloth. Wipe dry after cleaning.
Cleaning the Nozzle and Attachments
It is recommended to clean attachments with water after each use.
1) Pry open the cover release tab on the nozzle to remove the cover.
2) Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow the parts to dry before storing.
Cleaning the Brushrolls and Floor Nozzle Cover
To maintain efficient cleaning, the brushrolls must be kept free of carpet fiber, string, or hair build-up. If the brushrolls are wrapped with hair or debris, follow below steps to check and clean brushrolls. Cleaning the brushrolls periodically is recommended for best performance.
1) Turn off and unplug carpet cleaner.
2) Grip the two nozzle cover release tabs and pull up with force to remove the nozzle cover.
3) Hold the nozzle cover. Insert the nozzle cleaning tool into the slot openings at the front of the floor nozzle cover. Clean until free of pet hair or debris. Rinse the nozzle cover and allow it to dry.
4) Remove any build-up entangled around the brushrolls.
5) When finished cleaning, reinstall the nozzle cover. First lock the two tabs on the nozzle cover into the slots on the front edge of the floor nozzle. Then lock the nozzle cover into place by rotating it down until a click is heard.
NOTE: Make sure the nozzle cover is properly installed
Cleaning the Foam Filter
It is recommended to clean the filter every 3 months. Foam filters may appear dirty after use - this is normal.
1) Remove the clean water tank and the dirty water tank.
2) Remove the foam filter with the nozzle cleaning tool as shown.
3) Wash with cold water only, DO NOT use detergent or soap. Squeeze by hand and allow to air dry before reinstalling.
NOTE: DO NOT operate without foam filter installed.
DO NOT wash in the dishwasher.
DO NOT install foam filter if damp.
4) Replace the foam filter into the carpet cleaner.
5) Reinstall the clean water tank and the dirty water tank.
